High temperature superconducting maglev transportation technology engineering research
Maglev transportation is a kind of green energy-saving vehicle; its technology advantages are fast, safe, and comfortable. It is one of the main development directions of the traffic in the 21st century world. As early as 1998, the United States has announced 21st Century traffic fairness method (Transportation Equity Act for the 21st Century, TEA - 21),by the form of legal provisions to develop maglev Transportation technology in the United States, which carried out by the federal ministry of railways and ministry of communications. Currently, the Japanese government has implemented a low-temperature superconducting maglev train from Tokyo to Osaka business line —— central new maglev line, whose speed can be up to 505 km/h, and it plans to be completed in 2027 In our case, magnetic levitation technology (including high temperature superconducting maglev) has clearly listed in the national medium and long-term science and technology development plan (2020), and in 2014 the high-speed maglev explicitly has been listed in the national science and technology of the 55 key items. Therefore, starting the HTS maglev traffic engineering research is timely to satisfy the need in our country.
